This article talks about an incident that took place on he highway in Florida. While traveling to a track meet with the track coach,Walter Chambliss, students and coach were pulled over. The coach was arrested for driving with suspended license and the car was towed, leaving the students stranded on the side of the highway. The school refused to get involved because the track meet was not school related. The students were eventually transported to the nearest exit.
I believe that the school should have done something because the students were traveling with the coach. They should not have been left stranded on the side of the highway. It does not matter if the track meet was school related or not. If the students left school with the coach, then it was his, as well as the school, to make sure they remained safe.
Do you think the school should have been more involved?

Success vs. Failure
If one asks for success and prepares for failure, he will get the situation he has prepared for"
- Florence S. Shinn
I think that this quote is saying that you should always prepare for the outcome you hope to have. If you prepare for one thing but are asking of something else, then most likely, you will end up with what you have prepared for.

Have you ever been put in a situation where you had to prepare for the worst but still expected something differently?
