Florida Track Athletes Left Stranded After Coach's Arrest

This article talks about an incident that took place on he highway in Florida. While traveling to a track meet with the track coach,Walter Chambliss, students and coach were pulled over. The coach was arrested for driving with suspended license and the car was towed, leaving the students stranded on the side of the highway. The school refused to get involved because the track meet was not school related. The students were eventually transported to the nearest exit.

I believe that the school should have done something because the students were traveling with the coach. They should not have been left stranded on the side of the highway. It does not matter if the track meet was school related or not. If the students left school with the coach, then it was his, as well as the school, to make sure they remained safe.

I think that this quote is saying that you should always prepare for the outcome you hope to have. If you prepare for one thing but are asking of something else, then most likely, you will end up with what you have prepared for.

The Tragedy of Treyvon Martin

I think that this situation is very tragic. No one deserves to endure what this family has. I can not imagine the hurt that Trayvon Martin’s parents are experiencing from the lost of a child. All of his peers say that he was never a bad kid, so I do not think he would have chosen that specific night to change. I know, as well as many others, that justice has not been served. I pray that Zimmerman finds it in his heart to tell the truth about what happened, and to accept his punishment that he deserves. I know for a fact that if it was Zimmerman who was shot and killed, then Martin would be preparing for a trial that would probably cost him the rest of his life. So, I will pray for this family, and hope that they get the justice they deserve.

Going to Work

Today I have to go to work. I really don't want to go, but I am going. Then, when I leave work, I am going to a party. I really don't know what I want to wear, though. I hope it's not cold.

What is your perspective on Valentine's Day?


I think that Valentine's Day is a day to show your loved ones that you truly love them. Even though this is something that should be done daily, this is the day to make a special effort. Valentine's Day is not only for your significant other. You should take the time out and share this day with everyone that you love.

Being Broke

There is a huge between being broke and poor. When you are broke, you have no money at that moment, but when you are poor, you are unfortunate. Being poor is all in your mind because once you think you are poor, you enter a stage of not doing anything for yourself. You begin looking for handouts instead of trying to provide for yourself.

No because if you do not put any of your personal business on there then no one will know anything. You should understand that it is a nationwide site and all kinds of people are on there. You should limit the information that give out and your privacy will be safe.

My Opinion

What Barbour has done is totally outrageous. The criminals that were pardoned does not deserve to be free because they earned their own jail time. I think that Barbour was absolutely inconsiderate of the victims that were effected by the freed individuals. I think that they all should return to prison. It does not matter their health condition. After all, its all their fault that they are in prison anyway.

What are your goals for 2012? Explain.

In 2012, I will finish my junior year with a 4.0 and begin searching for a college that I would like to attend. Also, I will become a more sociable person. I will try my best to control my attitude towards people and become more of a people's person.
