Florida Track Athletes Left Stranded After Coach's Arrest

This article talks about an incident that took place on he highway in Florida. While traveling to a track meet with the track coach,Walter Chambliss, students and coach were pulled over. The coach was arrested for driving with suspended license and the car was towed, leaving the students stranded on the side of the highway. The school refused to get involved because the track meet was not school related. The students were eventually transported to the nearest exit.

I believe that the school should have done something because the students were traveling with the coach. They should not have been left stranded on the side of the highway. It does not matter if the track meet was school related or not. If the students left school with the coach, then it was his, as well as the school, to make sure they remained safe.

I think that this quote is saying that you should always prepare for the outcome you hope to have. If you prepare for one thing but are asking of something else, then most likely, you will end up with what you have prepared for.

The Tragedy of Treyvon Martin

I think that this situation is very tragic. No one deserves to endure what this family has. I can not imagine the hurt that Trayvon Martin’s parents are experiencing from the lost of a child. All of his peers say that he was never a bad kid, so I do not think he would have chosen that specific night to change. I know, as well as many others, that justice has not been served. I pray that Zimmerman finds it in his heart to tell the truth about what happened, and to accept his punishment that he deserves. I know for a fact that if it was Zimmerman who was shot and killed, then Martin would be preparing for a trial that would probably cost him the rest of his life. So, I will pray for this family, and hope that they get the justice they deserve.

Going to Work

Today I have to go to work. I really don't want to go, but I am going. Then, when I leave work, I am going to a party. I really don't know what I want to wear, though. I hope it's not cold.

This quote is saying that worrying only takes away from the full effect of the moment. You should not live with worries because it is a waste the the moment. You should just go with the flow and let what ever happens just happen.
